A: Spray tanning is a process in which a colourless sugar (DHA based) is sprayed onto your skin via a handheld airbrush system. The DHA reacts with the amino acids in the outermost (Epidermis) layer of your skin to create a natural tan. As these skin cells are naturally exfoliated, the colour gradually fades - much like a real sun tan. The solution applied has a cosmetic bronzer that allows us to see exactly where the solution is being placed. here

A: Absolutely not! Our solution, which has a green base, will give even the palest skin a natural glow without turning orange. Schulz Beauty has an orange-free/oompa-loompa-free policy!

A: Dark, loose fitting clothing is best to prevent rubbing and decrease the chances of transferring your tan. Please do not wear any tight fitting clothing (i.e. jeans), as the friction caused can rub your tan while it's drying. It is also recommend to not wear a bra immediately after your session. No one likes bra's anyway, let your girls be free.

A: It takes about 4 - 5 minutes to airbrush the spray tanning solution, and then an additional 5 minutes for your tan to dry. In total you can get your glow, and be on-the-go in about 15-20 minutes. Unless you want to stay and hang out with us, that's cool too 😎.

A: Your spray tan will last about 5 to 10 days and fades gradually throughout this time period. Everyone's skin naturally exfoliates itself at different rates, so it's hard to determine exactly when yours will fade completely. The longevity of your tan depends on how fast your body's exfoliation process is, as well as how well you maintain your tan. We highly recommend moisturizing frequently (2x a day) to help extend the life of your tan, and keep your skin hydrated. Extended hot showers, shaving, and waxing speeds up your skins natural exfoliation process, and will shorten the length of your tan. To prevent fading it is important to exfoliate your body well prior to your spray tan.
